About Us
Tamela Gail Moore is a 1988 graduate of Northwest High School in McDermott, OH. She furthered her education by completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, OH. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Capital University in Columbus, OH. She has been employed for 19 years at the Scioto County Dept. of Job & Family Services in Portsmouth, OH as the Human Resources Officer.
While Tammy has enjoyed her public service employment, her passion lies in professional speaking. In 2004, Tammy started “Accomplish Moore Enterprises, LLC,” a professional speaking company (www.tamelamoore.com). She presents programs on Personality Analysis, Communication, and Leadership to many small businesses, associations and non-profit organizations. She is a certified True Colors Personality System Trainer, a certified John Maxwell Leadership Trainer, and a certified Development Dimensions International Program Facilitator.
Tammy joined the National Speakers Association (NSA) as a professional member in 2006. Her involvement with the NSA Ohio Chapter led to her serving on the Board of Directors for 7 years with 2011-2012 being the year she proudly served the state chapter as President. This was a huge personal accomplishment for her.
Tammy has some serious “loves” in her life, besides John and her strong Christian faith. She is known for her love of the country group Alabama and her attendance at nearly 150 of their concerts! When they retired, she was forced to find a new band to follow (or some may say “stalk”). She now loves the contemporary Christian group Casting Crowns. She is a diehard Days of Our Lives fan and has watched since the 80’s. She is a foodie and loves all things involving food! And her hero is Bugs Bunny!
Duke is the loveable, abandoned, stray pup to whom John and Tammy recently gave
a home. He wandered into their lives as a starving, worm infested, bag of bones,
and stuck around after being fed a can of Vienna Sausages and John's favorite
Chicken Tenders. Duke has become a loving member of the household and shows
his gratefulness to being rescued by regularly jumping for joy, giving many happy
wags of the tail, and giving lots of sloppy wet kisses to anyone who gets close
enough!
